First Aid Kit Refills in the UAE: Stock Check and Reorder Guide

First Aid Kit Refills in the UAE: Stock Check and Reorder Guide

To refill a workplace first aid kit, compare its approved contents list with the usable stock, identify the shortfall by item and pack size, and request a quotation for those replacements. An empty first aid box, a complete stocked kit and a refill order are different purchases. Reordering the box name alone can leave a buyer comparing quotations for different contents.

This guide helps purchasing teams prepare a replenishment request for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman. It covers stock records and buying decisions; the responsible workplace safety or clinical team should decide the required contents.

Start with the approved contents list

Use the list approved for the particular workplace, kit and location. Record the kit reference and where it is kept so that a delivery can be allocated correctly. If the list is missing, ask the person responsible for first aid arrangements to confirm it before placing an order. Do not treat a product description such as “50-person kit” as a complete specification.

For Abu Dhabi workplaces, ADPHC’s ADOSH-SF CoP 4.0, version 4.0, section 3.3 links kit contents to the health risk assessment and requires inspection by a competent person at least once per month, including replenishment and replacement of expired items. This is an Abu Dhabi reference; it should not be presented as a single rule for every GCC destination. Check the current requirements applicable to your site.

Build a refill list that suppliers can price

Use a separate line for each product and size. Keep the unit being counted separate from the supplier’s pack quantity. A request for 24 rolls is different from a request for 24 packs containing multiple rolls.

Record What to enter Why it helps
Product identity Name, dimensions and model or reference Prevents a similar-sounding item being quoted
Approved stock level Required quantity for this kit or site Provides the baseline for the shortfall
Usable quantity Quantity accepted after the responsible person’s inspection Keeps unsuitable stock out of the purchasing calculation
Purchase quantity Shortfall, expressed as individual items or packs Makes different supplier quotations comparable
Receiving details Site reference, contact and delivery destination Helps allocate the replacement supplies correctly

For example, an enquiry might specify “gauze bandage, 7.5 cm × 4.5 m, 24 individual rolls; confirm the number of rolls per pack and the supplied product specification.” This is an illustration of a clear purchasing line, not a recommended kit quantity.

Separate refills from storage and equipment

If the container is still suitable, list replacement consumables separately from any new box or cabinet. If you also need scissors, a reusable item or an additional kit, give each its own line. This keeps the quotation clear when suppliers offer different pack configurations.

Browse Tradol’s bandages and dressings, wound-care supplies and first aid accessories. For a new storage container or complete kit, compare the kits, boxes and cabinets catalogue and read the first aid kit buying guide.

Check the quotation before approving substitutions

Compare the quoted item reference, dimensions, pack quantity and included contents against your list. Request the available manufacturer information and expiry details where relevant. If the quotation proposes another size, material or product, ask the responsible person to approve the exact substitute. A lower line price does not establish that two packs contain the same number of usable items.

For a multisite order, ask for the site allocation to be shown in the order record. Confirm availability, delivery arrangements and any receiving restrictions before committing to the order. Keep the accepted quotation with the stock list so the next replenishment request starts with a clear product reference.

Send the destination with your request

Tradol supplies from Abu Dhabi, UAE. Use the UAE enquiry page, or the regional catalogue for Saudi Arabia, Qatar or Oman. Include the city, quantities and requested date. Availability, delivery scope, charges and documentation are confirmed for the destination in the quotation.

Questions about first aid refills

Do I need to replace the whole kit?

That depends on the condition of the container and the contents approved for the site. Ask the responsible person to confirm what needs replacing, then request the missing items separately or ask for an itemised complete-kit quotation.

Can one refill order cover several sites?

Yes, you can submit one enquiry with separate site references and quantities. Ask Tradol to confirm packing and delivery arrangements for each destination.

Does a refill pack automatically meet my site requirements?

No. Compare its itemised contents with your approved list. The pack name or person-count label alone does not establish suitability for your workplace.

Ready to enquire? Send: kit or site reference; product and size; quantity and unit; delivery city; requested date; and documents needed. Request an itemised refill quotation from Tradol.
